I was up at my cousin's in Vallejo in the summer of '94. My cousin roots for the Golden State Warriors and the Warriors came off an impressive season with Chris Webber and Latrell Sprewell on the helm. Tim Hardaway and Chris Mullin were going to come back from injuries. So the Warriors needed one more piece.
REY-REY: "Yeah, the Warriors are going to be dangerous next year!"
COUSIN: "Did you see who we drafted?! We needed a center so, yeah, I can't wait to see CLIFFORD ROZIER play! He's going to save the Warriors!"

Clifford Rozier was picked 16th overall in the 1994 NBA Draft after averaging a double-double in each of his two years in Louisville. After a botched of Don Nelson player moves, Rozier got a chance to show some of his stuff and averaged 6.8 PPG and 7.4 RPG in his rookie year in only 23 minutes per game.
That turned out to be his best season. He would only play one more season with the Warriors before he got traded to the Toronto Raptors. He didn't last long there, either, as he ended up at Minnesota the following year. After six games with them, he didn't play in the league again.
Since then, he's gotten into trouble with the law. From cocaine to domestic battery to auto theft.
Besides those run-ins with the law, we really don't know what he does for a living. It's really too bad. My cousin said he was going to be the savior for the Warriors. Turns out that Clifford Rozier needs to save himself more than anything.
