Tim Duncan In A Graphic Novel

So Nick found this awesome gem last week...

It's a graphic novel about Tim Duncan made by TokyoPop. This book was made in 2004 as part of their... Greatest Stars of the NBA series. So by that time, Duncan's only won two titles (we all know he's won four as of today).

Let me tell you the synopsis according to the back of this little graphic novel...

"Dominating. Precise. Clutch. With a resume that sparkles with two NBA championships and two MVPs, Tim Duncan makes it clear that he's a force and a phenomenon with a bank shot that has no answer. In The Greatest Stars of the NBA series, Duncan's skills are on display in an awesome new Cine-Manga format. You'll be in the middle of the action as you relive the signature moves and greatest moments from his illustrious career."

It's pretty clear that stuff like this was especially made for the younger audience. But just for kicks, let's go inside the comic and see what good stuff they have!

They got these two goofs named Lil' Hops and T-Minus covering "their boy", Tim Duncan! I want to have a cool nickname like LIL' HOPS and T-MINUS.

Of course, we get action pics of Tim Duncan.

The first of many, uh, witty quotes from this awesome duo.

I'll admit that I probably would've enjoyed this if I were nine years old.

You gotta get TD a straitjacket!!!

I can't wait to say this to somebody...

"Man, I have a hole in my pocket!"
"Why?"
"Because I'm droppin' dimes all over the court, son!"

More pix of Timmah in action.

These guys just keep rolling in the quotables!

Yes, kids. Tim Duncan is like ice cream.

Ha ha ha ha. I'm not going to tell you to go out and buy this awesome series. Again, it's clearly geared towards the younger audience. I was just totally amused by the whole graphic novel itself. Actually... Project Spurs, how much would you buy this thing?!
