Sweet Valley High Dishes: The T-Wolves’ New Head Coach!

Okay, this had really bothered me a long time. And, actually, don't ask why it bothered me.

I recall waaaay back in high school (1994 to be exact) when my brother and I ended up watching an episode of Sweet Valley High. Dammit. I already lost manly points for even mentioning Sweet Valley High. But, yeah, we were channel-surfin' on a Saturday morning (where was WWF Superstars of Wrestling?!) when we settled on this show. I'll probably feel better when Jimmy Castro comments on this entry and says, "OH! I remember watching that!"

Anyway, Kurt Rambis from the Lakers (and, now, the Minnesota T-Wolves' new head coach) made an appearance on this show. That was REALLY the only reason why my brother left it on this channel. I skimmed through the episode and Kurt Rambis was only brought here so he can, uh, teach one of the teenagers about the value of friendship by killing him in a one-on-one match. In fact, just watch these two videos.

Go to 5:40 in this video for Rambis' first appearance.

And then the epic one-on-one match up between Rambis and a "teenager" is around 5:15 in the second video.

Or you can choose to watch the whole episode. I'm not going to judge since, after all, I'm the nitwit that made this entry.

"Okay, so you got height. But I've got speed... agility..."

Never, EVER bring up the height of Kurt Rambis. Or else he will be the bus driver that takes you to school. BANG.

Follow me on Twitter. The name is @TheNoLookPass. I swear I did NOT watch Sweet Valley High regularly.

We're always up late. How about buying us a coffee? Or an energy drink!?

Oh sure, like we’re going to believe you didn’t watch that show regularly.

I bet you had all the books too.

    You are beyond help, man.
