I don’t expect the Celts to finish like like year though. They’re gonna bring the fire and intensity (as long as they’re healthy) similar to 2007 and it’ll be a good thing for NBA fans. I am ready for another Boston/LA rematch in the finals. Go Lekars!

I still wished they started Powell and brought Odom off the bench… but it’s pretty much irrelevant now with the Lakers coming back to full strength in a few days or so.

Celtics got off to a fast start last year, too, but it meant nothing in the end. What matters is finishing, not starting.

Lakers made the best decision at the time and with the pending return of Gasol (sending Odom back to the bench), we’ll start to see the Lakers true power then. For now however, Celtics are far and away the best team in the league and Lakers will need to get some sound wins before they can join that company. It’s starting to look like 2007-2008 all over again.

Well, of course. Like I mentioned, Artest is a better all-around player than Ariza is right now (though Ariza might have the better upside).

When negotiations with Ariza fell through, what are the Lakers supposed to do with Ron roaming free, right?
