We here in TNLP like our weekends. We normally don't update on Saturday and Sundays unless it's the postseason (when everything's important) or some really important breaking news happens.
And we all know that there is something happening in the NBA everyday. So you might have missed something in our blog. I've decided to give a few minutes of my Saturday morning to give you guys a recap of what's gone on in TNLP this week. Get yourself updated in the NBA. 1. The Week-Old NBA Season: I make observations on what had gone on in the first six days of the regular season. Brandon Jennings is giving us a good first impression, Carmelo Anthony is a monster, and Channing Frye is back with a vengeance.
2. The 8th Seed (Episode 5): You like podcasts? We do, too. This is the secondary NBA podcast I participate in. I work with seven other great NBA bloggers in this megacast. It's really our season preview but we also talk about Isiah Thomas, Mark Cuban, and Magic Johnson. Hosted by Glenn Moore of the Dugout Sports Show. I host the next edition of the 8th Seed! Watch out for that.
3. Spotlight Friday (Tuesday Edition): Bassy-nomics: David Diep talks about the impact that Sebastian Telfair can make on the L.A. Clippers.
4. Lakers Need Some Boom Boom Pau: That bench is looking mighty thin on the Lakers side. They really need that Pau Gasol guy.
5. Tim Donaghy And The NBA: Peter Kim, David, and I talk about Tim Donaghy, who was freed on that Wednesday we wrote this article. We are really curious on what he has on that book.
6. We Like Obscure NBA Players: Chris Corchiani: Peter talks about former Orlando Magic player, Chris Corchiani. He had a pretty sweet shot.
7. Tru Warier Returns To Houston: Ron Artest goes back to Houston to face his old team. On the other side, Trevor Ariza faces HIS old team.

9. Mamon Sessions: Somewhere in this "look-alikes" entry, Peter wrote a Filipino joke in there.
10. Chronicles Of Crotty #31: The Bad Touch: After a two-week hiatus, TNLP's podcast, the Chronicles of Crotty, returns as the NBA season has started. Former NBA player, Tracy Murray, stops by and discusses opening week with us. Clipper Darrell also comes by to talk Clipper basketball. Check it out.
11. TNLP Talks To Hornets Hype: We talk to Sarah of Hornets Hype to preview Sunday's game between the Hornets and the Lakers.
