Hello, weekend. It was a great week in TNLP, to say the least. Let’s check out what went on, shall we?
1. TNLP Talks To ESPN’s Land O’ Lakers: Immediately after the Lakers beat the Celtics in a close contest, I talked to Brian Kamenetzky of Land O’ Lakers from ESPN Los Angeles. He thought that the Lakers needed this win more than the Celtics.
2. L.A. Remembers February 1, 2008: It was two years ago at that day when Pau Gasol went to L.A. for basically Kwame Brown. It doesn’t seem so bad now that Marc Gasol is doing well for the Grizzlies.
3. Enjoy The Work Of Kobe Bryant: Kobe Bryant became the all-time leading scorer for the Lakers franchise. I take a look on what makes him tick amongst today’s great players.
4. Sweet Dishes: Yao And LeBron In A Coca-Cola Ad: An Asian commercial of LeBron James and Yao Ming. Of course, I don’t get the ad.
5. We Like Obscure Players: The Quiz: How well do you know the obscure players that we have talked about? Peter Kim tests your knowledge!
6. Ugly Shot!: There are some NBA players who just shoot in an unorthodox fashion. Take a look at some video at your own risk.
7. Sweet Dishes: Dennis Rodman Dribbles Tires: How about some more zany Asian commercials? This time, it involves Dennis Rodman. And tires.
8. Chronicles Of Crotty #39: Remember The Name (Interview W/John Crotty: On the first part of our First Anniversary Podcast Doubleheader, we interview the man that we named our podcast after, John Crotty. YES. THE John Crotty.
9. Chronicles Of Crotty #40: Born To Roll: And we continued our celebration in this second part of the First Anniversary Podcast Doubleheader with Mike Dunleavy resigning his post as head coach!
10. Sweet Dishes: Magic Johnson Loves San Manuel: There’s dancing on the pine!
11. Welcoming Changes: It’s About Time: Peter, Brandon Tomyoy, and Dave Diep talk about Kim Hughes replacing Mike Dunleavy as head coach of the Clippers. I think they’re still celebrating.
12. The 8th Seed (Episode Eight): Talkhoops.Net hosts the January episode of the megapodcast, The 8th Seed.
