Something For Me On The Side

Some of you might already know this but I am out there trying to expand my NBA writing resume. Well, sorta. But in any case, besides The No-Look Pass, I am out there contributing to other sites.

I have guest-posted on some blogs before. But I'm also out there making regular contributions to two blogs.

I haven't been doing it as much but I do provide old NBA videos over at Stacheketball. I was offered the editor job at first but I decided that I wouldn't be able to make that full commitment and I would probably force that into turning it into another TNLP so I just decided to make contributions here and there. Mookie of A Stern Warning has been named editor for Stacheketball recently. Totally great guy and the right guy for the job. I just hope he's able to make time for all of this.

I'm also making NBA blog contributions (more significantly) at Fanway Dot Com. Fanway is trying to rebuild itself into an online sports community (some of the best bloggers are there such as Dennis Velasco from SLAM and Sarge from Waiting For Next Year). I will write there three times a week just providing commentary and analysis (I'm not sure why they picked me) about the happenings in the NBA. Basically, more of my serious stuff goes to Fanway while I continue to build up TNLP. I will also be one of the guys behind their Twitter account (FanwayDotCom). That's probably more on the lines of promoting the site itself but if I'm asked to do more with the account (as in provide commentary about OTHER sports besides basketball than I'll do that).

Some of the stuff that I did at Stacheketball? Here's an old RJ and Vince video from a few years back.

Oh... and here's some of my work at Fanway:

I'm Not Just Some L.A. Bandwagon Fan
Let's Not Hate On LeBron Too Much
Clipper Fans Can Party Now
Dallas Gets Some Tough Juice

Stay tuned to both Twitter accounts (@TheNoLookPass and @FanwayDotCom) for updates of my work on Stacheketball and Fanway.

Don't worry, though. The No-Look Pass is my baby and I am not going anywhere. TNLP is still my first priority and it will only die when I declare it dead. We will still continue to provide the content that we have been providing since its birth in December 2008. Thank you for your support as always!

  • Thanks for the kind words Rey Rey. I hope I have time for it all too!

And of course, if you ever find time to guest post at A Stern Warning, you're more than welcome.
  • If you need me for something on either A Stern Warning or Stacheketball, let me know. And, of course, you're welcome to invade TNLP anytime.
